You are giving Carlson the benefit of the doubt that it happened as he claims. I would find it very unlikely (though not impossible) that Israeli security would harshly question Americans who had just interviewed the US Ambassador. I could understand their confusion about flying in just to interview Ambassador Huckabee at the airport, but there is something in the story that - to me - doesn’t add up.
I have friends that came over as US NAVY SEALS to train with the commando 13 dive team and they were questioned for over 25 minutes each and the IDF lession officers were there waiting for them. In 1977 when I first came I got an hour interview along with the rubber glove Iggy cause I don't look Jewish. Its how things work especially when you're an outspoken Israel hater like fkr Qatarson
