Great analysis-how do you assess the role of the Israeli left in its approach to urging appeasement of Hamas as the only way the hostages would have been released and its attempts to manipulate the hostage issue and end support for the war in Gaza ? How about the culpability of the pre war IDF brass in urging a smaller smarter IDF that was reliant on high tech and which disregarded the intelligence on the ground that Hamas was planning a massive attack pre 10/7?

According to what I've read, that's a similar % of support found among the Arab citizens of Israel. I wonder if shelters, more than differing political assessments of the war, are at the base of those numbers too.
