Why anyone thought there was going to be instant regime change in Iran when the IDF decapitated leaders, bombed and ultimately invaded and occupied Gaza and after over two years Hamas remains in power is beyond me.

The Hasmonean Brigade holds out hope for an Israel where everyone pitches in. It is a thriving country, but thriving on a frontier where everyone needs to work to keep it secure. There's no alternative besides serving or suicide.

I don't understand the last comment of your newsletter - "So is the IDF collapsing?

The answer, unfortunately, is not yet."

Please explain. Thanks

I apologise for the lack of clarity. The intention was to say that the unfortunate reality is all if we don't do anything regarding recruitment the answer is no, but only for now.

Presumably Israel’s cabinet will not change anything until the system collapses.

I don’t understand this motivation:

So is the IDF collapsing?

The answer, unfortunately, is not yet.

Mike Doran of the Hudson Institute said explicitly that the key is United Arab Emirates. The shadow banking system of the Iranians is running thru the Emirates who show no intention of stopping it. “The banking system and the front companies are in Dubai, the shadow fleet, it is a service UAE provides to Iran, China, Russia.” The U.S. knows about it but hesitates to act because the UAE is a partner. He argues the U.S. could cripple Iran by targeting those networks rather than using military force.

And what about the 25% of Tel Aviv youth who are not reporting for IDF. Or the Arab Israelis added to many Bedouin especially from South Israel?
