It's hard to see the sense in attacking Kharg Island: Iran's oil exports, almost entirely to China, are already down by 65% and its imports from China down even more.
The Iranian energy infrastructure that matters are the 5 refineries that produce 70% of the fuels used domestically, the main natural gas pipeline, from South Pars through Isfahan, as over 80% of Iran's electricity is produced by natural gas and the 40 or so power plants that produce most of Iran's electricity. President Trump has already hinted at the power plants.
In addition, Iran's main port of Bhandar Abbas has been hit repeatedly as have roads connecting to it, straining Iran's ability to import. Whatever oil exports trickle out of Iran only help to lower the world price of oil.
