Fun factoid: a resident of Chicago has approximately double the risk of being murdered than a Palestine Arab in Judea/Samaria. And whereas a majority of the former are innocent bystanders, the vast majority of the latter are engaging in terrorist activity.
Settler violence is what you note but it’s a rounding error relative to the number of settlers in J & S. Now compare with overall Arab violence and you have a completely different situation.
It's always interesting to read your posts as, so often, you're ahead of the curve when it comes to reporting on events and speculation. You're right, I'm sure, to insist that starving the IRGC of revenue is a must, though I think, as Victor Davis Hanson argues, that this must go hand-in-hand with a steady increase in attacks on dual-use targets, such as roads, bridges and power plants - as now seems to be taking place. The ports on the Caspian Sea also need to be prevented from receiving Russian military aid. The tiger has, mostly, been de-fanged, it needs to be brought to collapse from exhaustion.
Trump is using a ‘slow squeeze’ on Iran’s balls (liquidity) until it can bear the pain no longer .. note to Trump ‘Iran’s pain threshold’ is very high !
“Trump appears to be playing for time until after the midterm elections”. To do what? Truly escalate? Even if I believed that, wouldn’t any suggestion of it be a campaign gift to Democrats?
Your comment on settler violence made a decline seem like a big deal. There should be no settler violence at all. And the continued theft of Palestinian land needs to stop.

Great fact.
Hey Amit, Dr Shira Efron praised your work during an interview on Ask Haviv Anything!
Given the minuscule percentage of the population that is involved, why are we still using the slanderous term “settler violence” ?

I'm so happy to ready your newsletter today; I was worried about you when there wasn't one on Friday!

The demand for "settler violence" far outstrips its supply.
The UN/Btselem database of "settler violence" include Arab terrorists who are neutralized while in the act of murdering Jews. It's a farce.

As it should be no terrorist acts from the “West Bank” Arabs at all. In 2025 alone, their violent acts killed 20 Israelis. A year before, it was 41.
Thank you for your pertinent analyse.
